We’re proud to share that Constructor has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Search and Product Discovery. This year, Constructor placed furthest on Completeness of Vision and highest on Ability to Execute.
In our view, this recognition reflects the momentum we’ve built through customer growth, platform innovation, and strong execution, and it highlights the speed at which we’re evolving to meet the needs of ecommerce and digital teams now and in the future.

It’s the second straight year Constructor has been named a Leader in this Magic Quadrant. For us, that’s powerful outside validation of what we already see every day: the measurable ROI our customers achieve with AI-native product discovery.
We believe this acknowledgement has arrived now because of our strategic direction. As AI reshapes how people shop — and the channels they shop in — buyers increasingly expect connected experiences that understand and adapt to them.
At Constructor, we’re obsessed with delivering the right product to the right person at the right time and in the right context — helping ecommerce teams grow engagement, conversions, and revenue as a result.
We realized from the beginning that doing that most effectively meant making AI foundational to the platform. Not added on later, but built in natively at the core.
That’s why we built our Commerce Reasoning Engine, which continuously learns from real shopper behavior and applies GenAI-based reasoning to every query and context. It uses that reasoning to figure out what would be most appealing to each particular shopper in each particular moment, and to be able to explain its reasoning for why. It is a step change from the legacy search engines of the past.
Our Reasoning Engine powers Constructor’s entire core discovery suite, from search, autosuggest, browse, collections, and recommendations to quizzes, retail media, and attribute enrichment.
It also powers offsite channels like email and LLM answer engines, as well as a suite of onsite agents with conversational shopping experiences. These are our AI Shopping Agent (ASA), which acts like an in-person associate and guides buyers to best-fit items, and our AI Product Insights Agent (PIA) that answers buyers’ "last-mile" questions right on the PDP.
And on the dashboard, it also powers new agentic tools like our Merchant Intelligence Agent (MIA). MIA pushes the boundaries of what was previously possible for merchandising teams and business users, and serves as a copilot (similar to coding agents for engineers) that makes them more than 2X as productive.
Constructor is built for modern ecommerce, with every component designed to work together so merchandisers can curate, automate, and monetize discovery from a single platform rather than stitching together point solutions.
We also believe this recognition reflects the forward-looking momentum we have seen at Constructor right now, with our roadmap playing a significant role.
Our roadmap is full of exciting work across agentic readiness, query refinement, merchandising, personalization, and AI understandability — and our market momentum keeps building.
What began with North America’s largest retailers now extends to B2C and B2B and is fully global. Major retailers everywhere from Germany, France and the UK, to Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, to Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa use Constructor to power discovery. Our platform is also backed by a fast-growing global partner network including AWS, Shopify, and Stripe.
